Williamsburg General Store

Williamsburg General Store

Our Dad, just divorced in his late 30's, decided to retire from a vibrant career in Architecture and build a family business with is four children.  He wanted to recreate a historic 1800's general store of his family name from Caldwell Texas.

For over a year we, as a family with dog, scoured rural upstate New York in a refurbished school bus for antiques that would recreate the 1800's general store.

In the travels he found an abandoned historic general store building in Williamsburg Ma..  Slated for demolition he bought it and over another year or so we refurbished the interior and opened for business.   More to this story later.
